Make opportunities before you need them.
We prepare students to explore careers, optimize résumé/LinkedIn and Handshake profiles to appear in recruiter searches, and interview with confidence—so they land that first internship or job.
We also invite guests from a range of industries to give real-world insight into day-to-day work.

How We Prepare Students
Every session produces a visible outcome: 1–2 professional reach-outs sent, one strong interview answer practiced live using employer-preferred frameworks, and a résumé and LinkedIn that show up in recruiter searches—so students convert outreach into real conversations.
Students learn to ace interviews using employer-preferred frameworks, identify the right person to contact in any company to get a reply, and how to align their résumé/LinkedIn with the language employers use—so they show up in searches. Through our live, instructor-led virtual curriculum and insights from industry guests, they leave with the tools and confidence to get one step closer to earning interviews at their target companies.
Our Three-Step Framework
Show up in recruiter searches, get replies, and deliver strong interview answers.
Discover
Learn to spot roles of interest, pull keywords from the job posts, and refine your résumé/LinkedIn to be surfaced in recruiter searches.
Connect
Find the right person to contact in any company and use our 3-message outreach playbook and send 1–2 confident, professional reach-outs live.
Build
Learn employer-preferred frameworks (STAR/CAR) so you can deliver concise, confident answers in any interview.
Build Momentum Now, Not Later
The job market won’t slow down.
Whether it’s an Application Tracking System (ATS) or a human’s 10-second scan, keywords and clarity determine who gets a closer look.
With crowded inboxes and structured interviews, we help students show up in recruiter searches, reach the right person, and deliver strong answers—moving them one step closer to that first internship or job.
That’s the Build My Path advantage: a head start.

About Build
My Path
Build My Path helps students move from interest to action. We teach them how to show up in recruiter searches (résumé/LinkedIn aligned to job-post language), contact the right person at any company to get a reply, and deliver strong interview answers using employer-preferred frameworks.
Sessions are live and instructor-led, with insights from industry guests, so students leave with tools they can use immediately.

About the Founder
Build My Path was founded by Salah A., who earned a Master's in Education from Harvard University and has served as a faculty member at Phillips Exeter Academy, St. Mark’s School, and Fay School.
Salah has led recruiting and hiring at Harvard Business School, where he authored the department’s standard operating procedure, a guide that continues to shape the hiring process today. He has also facilitated workshops on recruiting, hiring, and the future of work for the Harvard Workplace Learning Club, engaging both undergraduate and graduate students.
In addition to his academic leadership, Salah has worked with leading technology companies in Silicon Valley, gaining firsthand insight into modern recruiting practices, talent acquisition, and the skills employers value most.
Salah also served as an admissions reader for the Zuckerman Fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership, evaluating and interviewing top candidates from around the world.
With a deep background in academia, admissions, recruiting, and hiring, Salah founded Build My Path to close the gap between academic success and real-world career readiness, ensuring students don’t just excel in school but also thrive in life and the future workforce.
