Career readiness starts now, not after college
We prepare high school students with career discovery tools, resume and LinkedIn mastery, a clear understanding of modern hiring systems, including how to outsmart AI, interview practice, guidance on building professional relationships, and insights from real professionals across industries.

How We Prepare Students
At Build My Path, we help high school students gain real-world career skills through interactive virtual workshops. Our programs focus on career discovery, résumé and LinkedIn mastery, interview preparation, and professional networking. Students learn how to build authentic relationships, strengthen soft skills such as communication and adaptability, gain confidence through mock interviews, and hear directly from guest speakers representing diverse industries.
Our future-focused curriculum also equips students with clarity for informed decision-making. They gain insight into how modern hiring systems are evolving, particularly how AI is shaping recruitment, and receive curated resources that highlight which careers are at risk and which fields are expected to grow. With this knowledge, students are better prepared to choose pathways that align with their strengths and future opportunities.
Our Three-Step Framework
Our framework helps students turn curiosity into clarity and develop practical, professional skills.
Discover
Uncover passions and explore career paths through interactive workshops, self-assessments, and guided exercises, while learning how AI and automation are reshaping industries and opportunities.
Connect
Engage with industry professionals and guest speakers to gain real-world insights, mentorship, and early exposure to potential career paths.
Build
Create standout resumes and LinkedIn profiles, master interview techniques, and gain the confidence to secure internships and future opportunities in a modern job market.
Why Wait Until College?
The world of work is changing fast, and waiting until college to “figure it out” is too late.
Students today need career clarity, mentorship, and hands-on skills long before graduation. They must understand modern hiring systems, build professional relationships, and gain the confidence to succeed in a world shaped by AI and automation.
That’s the advantage Build My Path delivers, a head start on the future.

About the Founder
Build My Path was founded by Salah A., who earned a Master's in Education from Harvard University and has served as a faculty member at Phillips Exeter Academy, St. Mark’s School, and Fay School.
Salah has led recruiting and hiring at Harvard Business School, where he authored the department’s standard operating procedure, a guide that continues to shape the hiring process today. He has also facilitated workshops on recruiting, hiring, and the future of work for the Harvard Workplace Learning Club, engaging both undergraduate and graduate students.
In addition to his academic leadership, Salah has worked with leading technology companies in Silicon Valley, gaining firsthand insight into modern recruiting practices, talent acquisition, and the skills employers value most.
Salah also served as an admissions reader for the Zuckerman Fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership, evaluating and interviewing top candidates from around the world.
With a deep background in academia, admissions, recruiting, and hiring, Salah founded Build My Path to close the gap between academic success and real-world career readiness, ensuring students don’t just excel in school but also thrive in life and the future workforce.
